supporting the families of children born unable to swallow

To all at TOFS, just a really big THANK YOU for being there. All I wanted was just for someone to listen and understand and you were there for me.

Jo Wright, parent of a child born with TOF/OA

A BIG thank you to all our fundraisers

TOFS couldn’t continue to offer support to parents of children born with TOF/OA and VACTERL without YOUR support.  Many of you do so much to raise funds for us that it’s impossible to list everyone individually.  Every single penny raised is appreciated.  However, we know of a couple of you who ran the Flora London Marathon on Sunday - Dennis Earl (http://www.justgiving.com/dennisearl) and Christine Cummings.  We haven’t had any progress reports so here’s hoping you’re not still en-route to the finish!!

Congratulations also to fundraiser Kevin Mayo who has completed his 155 mile footrace in the Sahara Desert with an overall position of 176th.
We’re impressed Kevin - this is an fantastic result, especially considering the terrible start and the horrendous weather conditions.

And Leslie Logan from Northern Ireland, who boxed last weekend in aid of TOFS…hope you’re not sporting too many injuries…

Here’s some of the upcoming fundraisers we know about:

Corrinne Curtis is bungee-jumping for TOFS on 20 June ‘09.  http://www.justgiving.com/corrinnecurtis1

Helen Robb and and her two teams who are running the Belfast Marathon for TOFS on Mayday

Jed White and his Redcar Dip…(shiver)

Remember, if you’re hoping to raise funds for TOFS - make sure we know beforehand - we can advertise your JustGiving page on here if you have one.  If not, we can mention your event on our site.  Thank you all very much.
