Hi I know there s been some discussion on the forum recently about the small stature and difficulties with weight gain for our TOFS. Tonight on itv at 9pm there is a documentary on a girl born with Russell- silver syndrome. As a volunteer for Bliss -the premature baby charity I ve come across this a few times as one of my twins was diagnosed in the womb with IUGR (inter uterine growth restriction) and often goes hand in hand with twin to twin transfusion syndrome. Anyway I m rambling!My point is I feel it will be interesting to see how the ‘professionals ’ support this tiny 4 year old as she starts school and if there are any tips for growth as Russell -Silver syndrome is a growth condition (not linked to tofs in ANY way) but I wonder if some of the issues will be similar ?
