Well Harriet went to theatre on Monday for her 2nd fistula to be repaired. The ENT surgeon had looked down and found the hole so agreed best plan was to go through her throat and repair that way.
So Monday 2pm off she went, then at 5.45 he came to see us…
The op hadn’t gone to plan as he had had to close 3 holes!!!!!!!!

Can you believe she has had 4 fistulas… Has this been heard of before?

Anyway Harriet now in icu, paralysed and sedated. They are trying to extubate her on Thursday, so fingers crossed.

Thanks for all the well wishes

Kay, Gary and Harriet (if she could talk)

Wow….............

Harriet came home last night…......... She was that well she was discharged from intensive care.

Very unusual but they were that happy with her she didn’t need to go on a ward!

Thanks for the support
