Trouble at school

My Grandson aged 9 has made really good progress, following his difficult start and early years problems because of TOF. Recently he has been `caught out` doing some destructive things to school property. Obviously school are not impressed! Ed. Psychs. have been mentioned and possible Aspergers.

If he does have Aspergers I think it is likely to be a very mild form - looking at his behaviour and development so far. But I do wonder what effects his early medical traumas (in his first three years) have on him today? Is he somehow `acting out` some of the frustrations and pain at `authority`? His school has quite a tight reward and punishment system which he really does not fit in to. He is not bothered about collecting points to add up to a bronze award. He just wants to get on with the maths/reading/playtime etc!

Perhaps there are some TOF teenagers out there who could help him?

TOFS have been such a good resource throughout his life in helping us look at the current problems of the developmental stage! Thanks in anticipation.
