as it is less than 20 days until the conference I thought I would start a thread to see who is coming to Newcastle

I will start it with Saying
We are all coming
We shall arive on the Friday and leave sometime on the sunday.
Nathan is booked into the creche and I will say that we are nervous (Debs more than me) as this will be the 1st time that one of us hasnt been with him unless its been in a hospital, so I hope we will cope letting go for a few hours

I must say Im looking forward to meeting everyone that we met at the childrens party again, plus everyone else that we have been in touch with through this site.

Really wish we were going to the conference,its impossible for us to go with having the 4 children and no childcare,feel really disappointed about not going,hopefully will attend the next one.

Myself (Jody) & Dan will be coming without any of our children whoop whoop (in a nice way). Just having the day as the parentals may be a little stressed with having our 4 for the day.

We are coming on the Friday night and staying until the Sunday, we dont drive and there is works on the rail lines that weekend.
Happy to meet folks on the friday night, in place of sitting in hotel rooms. Just let us know.
This will be our first conference, so will be doing some serious networking hopefully.

We are planning on arriving Friday afternoon (we have a much shorter journey than you Anna!!)We’re staying two nights. Can’t wait to see everyone again. The one two years ago was my first TOFS conference and I was in tears when I met everyone for the first time - no-one had understood what it was like before.
I know in the past we have had name badges, but honestly, sometimes I am sooo rubbish with names. At the parties i have met people who i know I have talked to online, but whose real names I’m not sure of. I wonder if the office could make us name labels with screen names on too?

i have just dig out our invites and the workshops we are going to are in the afternoon,

what time does eveyone else get there for?
