Haven’t been in touch for a while. nice to read everyone’s posts. hi to Linda!

luke is on par with his brother now. apart from his tof cough it would be hard to tell he was any different.

he is back on his meds as he was arching his back too often when stopped completely. we’re seeing the consultant in a few weeks to check on his progress

had a few flashbacks around their birthday in february but am working through it with counsellor from Mind

Wishing you all a good Easter!

Just wanted to update everyone on Luke - he turned 2 on Monday and watching him tuck into pizza with his twin Joshua at Pizza Hut it was hard to believe he had been in and out of hospital the first year of his life! He had no major chest infections over winter and only the occasional choke. It has been a relief to be a “normal” family and do normal things without worrying. We are going to see a speech therapist today just to check both boys development - Luke is a little bit behind Joshua but as in most things he manages to catch up eventually. It just takes a little time.

Cannot believe it has been 2 years since I last posted here! Luke’s speech has improved dramatically since starting Pre School and he has grown in confidence, becoming the more “dominant” twin. He is highly intelligent -plays on the computer and X box with very little help. He just does not like any doctor/hospital games , which I explain to him is because he had so much done to him as a baby. He is still prone to chest infections and tires easily when walking but is just as active as his brother when in park/playcentre. He loves climbing and has no fear of heights.
