I was born in 1975 and had a short gap TOA/F repaired then. Avoided any other medical attention till 30 (more due to GP obliviousness to my health problems than anything else!) but do have long term chest problems due to the condition. I think I’m probably the ultimate expert patient, since most lung doctors I’ve seen have little/no experience so it was serendipity that led me to see Prof Morice at Hull, who actually understands the problem!
