We are primarily a parent support group, but we respond to developments in medical research into TOF/OA and VACTERL by keeping families and other interested individuals and organisations accurately and impartially informed.
We also occasionally provide funds to support scientific research into the causes, effects and implications of TOF/OA and VACTERL. In May 2005, we awarded Dr Shaw-Smith (Honorary Consultant at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge) with £10,000 to advance research into TOF/OA.
We have strong links with the medical profession. Specialists from areas such as paediatric surgery, dietetics and genetics speak at our biennial conference.
